Amber Moelter's Bio:
Amber Moelter is the co-founder and director of Noir Tribe which creates visual content for the fashion industries, with a special interest in sustainability and social responsibility. Her work has been featured on Vogue Italia, Vogue México, ELLE México, NYLON Español, Harper’s Bazaar Bulgaria, Harper’s Bazaar Brasil, and Glamour. Awards include Best Documentary for Peyote Dreams at the International Fashion Film Awards and Best Cinematography for ETHETICS at the Mercedes-Benz Bokeh South African International Fashion Film Festival.
Noir Tribe's fashion documentary series ETHETICS (ethics+aesthetics) premiered at the BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival and premiered online at Vogue Italia. It won Best Documentary at Panama Fashion Film Festival, Best Designer/Brand at Fashion Film Festival Milano (also nominated for Best Documentary), Best Styling at Mexico Fashion Film Festival, and Best Cinematography at Mercedes-Benz Bokeh South Africa Fashion Film Festival, where it was also nominated for Best Fashion and Best Documentary. It was also nominated for Best Fashion Short of the Year at the Academy Award-qualifying Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Tokyo. ETHETICS in an ethical fashion film series in partnership with the ITC’s Ethical Fashion Initiative – a flagship program of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations.
I produced Dressed For Protest: The Women’s March and Beyond, a short documentary in association with The Women’s March on Washington – NYC Chapter and Glamour Magazine. It premiered at Fashion Film Festival Milan in the #FFFMILANOFORWOMEN special screening and is also an official selection at FASHIONCLASH Fashion Film Festival in the Netherlands and at Miami Fashion Film Festival. Most recently, Noir Tribe premiered the fashion film POLITE presents I Am An Individual at the opening night of the Inexmoda BCapital fashion event in Bogotá, Colombia and is an Official Selection of Copenhagen Fashion Film Festival.
